Map 14 - River Petteril
Directions for Parking at P1, P2 and P3: From Junction 41 (M6) take the 4th exit for the A6, at the next roundabout (Stoneybeck) take the 2nd exit, A6 for Carlisle.
For Parking at P1 (What3words - mock.quaking.duty): Travel on the A6 for approximately 3 miles and turn left for Low Grounds, go down the road and over the bridge, then park on the grass on the right.
For Parking at P2 (What3words - inquest.developed.face): Travel on the A6 for approximately 4 miles and turn left for Plumpton Foot, carry on towards Plumpton Foot and you will drop down hill through left and right hand bends, at the bootom as the road bears left the parking space is opposite you and access is throught the gate to the river.
For Parking at P2 (What3words - deeper.appendix.liberated): Travel on the A6 for approximately 5 miles and turn left for Calthwaite, stay on this road until you cross a bridge over the River Petteril, then park on the left on the grass verge, opposite the entrance to High Oaks Farm.
